The Cooperative Research Centres Project (CRC-P)

With our Program Partners, RMIT University and Sleepeezee Australia, we are currently developing flexible proximity sensors embedded in bedding material that will offer real-time feedback on a user’s state of health and sleep. This system will revolutionise the current Australian health care sector through a non-invasive, medical grade monitoring system.

We want to increase the quality of care for the elderly, decrease the overheads for aged care facilities, provide overworked nurses and carers with a life-saving tool, whilst providing peace of mind for the families and loved ones of the residents – so they too can sleep tight at night. Read more…

Product Range

We develop and distribute several bedroom products for the aged care industry. Our product range consists of adjustable beds with enhanced height capabilities, bespoke foam mattresses with advanced gel technology (for increased airflow, body heat reduction and improved pressure distribution), and traditional bedding. We welcome any ideas for product development from our industry partners.

Cameron van den Dungen Chief Executive Officer With expertise in business, product management and commercialisation, Cameron van den Dungen is a Non-Executive Director of the Forty Winks Group of Companies and former General Manager of Bedding (Australia) Pty Ltd. His professional affiliations include a membership of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Over the past 10 years, Cameron has travelled the world investigating new technologies and innovations in the technology, bedding and retail landscapes with the single goal of improving the wellbeing and health outcomes for Australians of all ages through innovative sleep technologies.

Sheida Danai Communications & Marketing Manager / CRC-P Project Manager With a demonstrated background in PR, content writing, events and social media, Sheida Danai joined the Sleeptite team as the Communications & Marketing Manager. Having previously worked within the not-for-profit sector as a Communications and Events Advisor, Sheida has always had a keen passion for working with projects that benefit the vulnerable and less fortunate.

Yohan Samuel Jose Operations Manager With a distinct attention to detail, an eagerness to learn, and a passion for marketing, Yohan joins the Sleeptite team as the Operations Manager to build, structure and organise the multi-layered process of product development. Coming from a solid background in sales, marketing and organisational administration, he oversees all of Sleeptite's sales projects and client relationships - both locally and internationally.
